The procedure to remedy error 14H is described on page 163, but an important point is missing.
Go to page 62 in the manual. To the left in the upper drawing there is a double cog wheel the axis of which is denoted by a dotted line. Inside this wheel assembly is a helical spring that acts as a coupling. After many years this coupling gets too slippery and loses the grip. This is what the spring looks like:

Put a piece of sandpaper on a stick. While holding the spring against a flat surface roughen the inner surface by sanding it axially. The result will not be visible to the ***** eye but it will help There are two cylinders inside the spring. One of them is fixed to the spring. The other cylinder can also do well with the same treatment.
Important: Before assembly clean the parts with break cleaner or similar fluid.
There is another thing that I had to fix long ago. I do not remember the error code but I can describe what I did. In the printer there are several solenoids that are used for synchronization of the internal movements. In fact, there are three solenoids in the wheel train that I discuss above.
These solenoids used to have a foam based cushion against which the actuator arm rested when the solenoid was idle. This cushion had turned into a sticky goo that prevented the arm to move. It was not sufficient to remove the goo because residual magnetism could serve as a sticky goo instead. My solution was to make strips of aluminium sheet, around 1 mm thick. These I folded around the part I installed the strips on. I also added some glue on the backside where it made no harm.

Open the top cover. Remove the drum (part with long green handle). Below the drum you will see a strip of glass about 4-5 inches long. Take a cloth and wipe across the glass.
This will normally clear up any white lines in your print.

Did you buy a whole new drum unit, or just change the cartridge? If so, the fuse may still be blown. Also, you may need to empty the spent toner out of the old cartridge.

Error 08 relates to the main motor having problems turning. Quite often this is caused by a faulty consumable (opc,toner or transfer belt). Could also be that the lid is not closing properly and stopping the toner carousel turning freely.
