Why is my d2 ipad frozen

This works on the Kindle. Try it with the iPad ---- turn off the device, wait for a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Rebooting is easy. It is called a hard reboot. Just hold both buttons down until you see a red slider, and then slide it to shut down. It will restart, and you will see the Apple logo.

Most likely because you opened either too many apps or it just had to much stress( often because it was left on for a long time).
just hold the power and home button for less than 15 seconds to reset it. ( reset as in turn off and on)
