How do i fix my hp 1210 all in one ink error?

Getting "check printer cartridge" message even though new ink just installed. tried resetting, shifting cartridges in and out and using just black, with no luck

hi,

as you are using a refilled cartridge, it is causing this problem. the thickness of ink in a hp genuine cartridge and a refilled cartridge varies. and also the refilled cartridge may make your printer faulty. so it is good to try with a new hp genuine ink cartridges.

DEAR TRY COPY A PRINT i mean print out not from your system jast put a paper in to your secner and copy it if the printer do it.then reinstall your software
if not then you have to repair it from your nearest printer repair shop.

some time hp printer does not reconize refill cartridge or cartridge is damage when refilled so change cartridge

Try cleaning the contacts on the carriage unit with piece of cotton and alcohol.If this not help there is a problem in carriage unit and your printer need service.

chech the part number of your cartriges, and also the expiration date for both cartridges

Generally HP Printer Error Code 0xc19a0022 Caused by when Ink system of the printer gets failed out to perform, The trouble of the low ink in the ink cartridges, The ink getting overfull in the cartridge, This trouble can also occur because of the ink getting in contact with the chip present in the cartridge and missing out of cartridge chip.
Steps to Fix HP Printer Error 0xc19a0022 :-
Step 1. Try to update firmware.
Step 2. Remove All Cables
Step 3. Also tried to re-install the driver.
And If you Installing New cartridge fixed the problem, You need to troubleshooting Process.
1. Resetting the Printer.
2. Go to HP Printer Control panel to check Estimate ink level.
3. Cleaning the Ink Cartridge vents and all contacts.
4. Cleaning the Print head as well as Replacing the Print head.

I receive hp catridge error when i refill the catridge and install in my printer.
check if cartridge is genuine
check if it is really a brand new one or fake

power cycle the printer
check if it has an alignment option,align the cartridge with new inks
check if it has a clean utility automatic cleaning
or you can manually clean the contacts on printheads which detects the inks the you inserted

reset the unit if you know how to
different printer has specific way of resetting

most probably you are just getting a rejection error try using theold one if that fixes the issue it means there must be an issue with brand new inks

Hp 1210 all in one printer - error message
Two problems;

1 - This unit cannot be set back to factory settings as it does not have the keypad to enable this functionality.

2.
Most of the time when the error pops up it is due to problems with either the printer reading the cartridge is in from the contacts or the cartridge contacts are damaged.

I should also point out that refilled and remanufactured cartridges are the number one reason for the error but assuming that you are using hp cartridges fresh out of the pack take a look at this link and follow the steps. I would type them out but it even has pictures for easy reference!!

If you are not using hp cartridges then replace with genuine cartridges and it will most likely resolve the issue - the printer is able to tell the difference between a new and refilled/remanufactured and often times will reject the cartridge because of this.

Right cartridge incorrect" and "Left cartridge incorrect
Many newer HP Printers internally keep track of your cartridges by a serial number embedded into the cartridge. When it's low, the printer remembers. This is entirely done within the printer itself, and not the printer software. Some printers EXPIRE the cartridges after 18 months according to the installation date even it is not empty.

Outrageous, but true.

A fix? Most HP printers will only keep 2 cartridges in memory, so if you have 2 extra cartridges, (even empty ones) you could cycle them through to reset the printers memory, and reset the ink level to full. Basically, even though you've refilled your cartridge, the printers has the cartridge's serial number stored in memory. This will reset it.

Cradle jam after inserting ink cartridge, wont align
May-15-2008
in a HP-PSC-1210, replaced empty HP56 black-inkjet cartridge.
Afterward, printer gave error message AND unable to "dismount" the cartridge.
Finally discovered that an HP57 color-inkjet cartridge had accidentally been mounted/installed. A handyman relative was able to dismount the (wrong) cartridge.

Cradle did not actually jam, though printer would not print.

Pen failure message from utility
HP tech support suggests cleaning the ink cartridge contacts and the contacts inside the printer for the cartridges. If this does not clear the problem, try replacing both cartridges (color and b/w) with new ones.
