SOURCE: how do i fix a belt that slipped off my samsung
There is a tensioner in the pulley that should keep the belt from slipping off.n most cases they work very well at keeping the belt tight. In your case the belt may be stretched too much ,I would check it and replace it if necessary

sounds like the heating element has gone or the themal component has died. you can test it with a multimeter by setting it to ohms and putting it across the terminals of the heater and if you get a reading then it is not an open circuit after that test the thermal cutoff the same way if it has a reading then it is good but if it stays at 0 then it is no good
With the model number, go to "SearsParts" and using your model number, type in the information and they will present you a picture so you can see if the felt is replaceable. Also, call Samsung and ask the same question. It very likely is replaceable. I just put one on last month. You will need to take the machine completely apart to do this job.
Be blessed.
