i own a X1-01 mobile..by uncertainly my mobile drooped in the water....after i take it i didn't use it for three days...as the water is inside the mobile i removed everything and put it in the sunrays...after 3 days....when i switched on my mobile....it asks for phone security and sim security code...but the thing is i didn't use any security code for my mobile before it slipped into water and some how i cleared all the problems ....and after 5 months...it automatically switched off and again it cannot be switched on....i don't know what's the reason.
That would be a transmission failure, friend. The problem is external connection which is the in the antenna contact point. If you open your cellphone and locate the antenna contact point...clean it for possible foreign object which is block the incoming of the signal...
If the problem still exist. Go to the nearest store where you buy the item and exchange it. If the warranty still cover the year of warranty period
Replace the keyboard. Something is wrong with the encoder chip inside, and new keyboards are so inexpensive there is no point trying to repair one when it goes bad.
i was also facing this problem with my LG GS290
but it was in warranty period therefore i took my mobile to lg service center and
they told touch pad is defected therefor they replaced with the new one without any cost
so if you have your mobile in warranty then take mobile to service center.
Try deleting SMS messages one by one, then, after all the SMS messages are deleted, restart your phone. This worked on my W230 for a while, then it didn`t work anymore. You will have problems in receiving messages as well, soon. I don`t understand why Motorola doesn`t announce a solution to this problem. Maybe they don`t care. That`s why my next mobile phone wasn`t a Moto :)
