Basically in the back upper part, remove the screws that holds the electrical control, then tip the electrical control up, that will enable you to slide the cover forward and tippet that up
I don't know who is worse for leaving out the little important steps.
Chilton manuals or you tube videos.
A couple of inches from the corners there is a clip. Take a screw
driver or a scraper and push inward from the front to collapse the clip. Then push
upward. Once you get one corner released hold that corner up.
If you let go you will most likely have to do it again.
But while holding upward reach over and release the other clip.
Once both corners are released the lid can be pushed upward
being held by the hinges in the back. Once up at about 90 degrees
you can pull the lid upward off of the hinges. Be careful of the
attached hoses and wires that go to the control panel.
There are clips in the seam near the front corners that can be pushed in with a putty knife to release.
WHY do you want to remove it?
If it is still in warranty you could void what you have. Manufacturers of electronic items have started to put in \' traps\'-things which indicate that a seal has been broken from someone messing around with something that needs a technician\'s expertise. Remember that this is Not Your Mothers\' Washing Machine and tread carefully.
