I plug my gas stove in and the display says bad line and beeps steady

"bad line" error means the control panel is not seeing a proper voltage to the oven. Have the power connections checked with a voltmeter all the way to the control panel. If voltage is present, you may need a new control. 25316221-dz1fkxf1fwolart5ai0divhk-4-0.jpg

Why does my whirlpool gas range have buzzing noise from control panel

Probably have a bad transformer on the control board. You would have to replace the control board.

Why does Control panel constantly buzz on a HotPoint RGB744 and RGB745 whenever it is plugged in.

Could be a faulty solenoid coil on the gas valve, or a relay you may need to remove the front panel and have a listen be careful it's live power . Use a multimeter to test through the circuits an disconnect the item that's buzzing, there is your problem.
Good luck and be careful

How do you relight the oven on a hotpoint free standing gas range

Your model has an igniter.
This is actually a ceramic glow plug, and if your oven wont light it needs replacing. Cheap and ez to diy.

Unit makes a loud buzzing sound whenever the unit has power.

We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

This can often also affect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can be inoperable or stuck on too.

Details of our service and critical safety information and disassembly information is at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Timer buzzer

I took the top of range apart to see if I could unplug the buzzer. Wasn't sure which wire it was so I just unplugged the bottom four wires one at a time.....don't really know what it did but it stopped buzzing and all the wires are plugged back in. Only thing I can think of it must have re-set something cause it works fine now
