The E20 error code is usually something clogging the pump system.
Umplugg the machine. In the back you can access the drain hose. Pull the clamp with pliers and then the larger clamp to the tub. Pull the pump with a screwdriver there will be a black rubber still attached to the pump. Watch how you pull this there is indexing to the way the pump is mounted take a pictutre and mark the pump. Look inside the hose and see if there is something cloging it.
E20 not draining error. Since you checked filter at bottom right corner for blockages, then maybe the drain pump has gone faulty or something jammed in it. You can also check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. You can try blowing out any cloggs in the machine with an air compressor.
Please let me know if you need any further help, otherwise good luck on fixing your problem.
Hi Error code e20 means a clogged drain pump. This might have happened due to small clips, pins, coins, etc being stuck in the pump. Please note that error e20 can also occur when the drain pump is not pumping fast enough or when the pump fails. To fix the issue you'll need to check the drain pump. Remove the 2 screws from the bottom of the front access panel, it will come off. Now check for the pump on the right side and remove hoses from it. Remove pump from machine then remove whatever is there in the pump. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
E20 is a code for the consumer only. Electrolux would determine this to be E23 most commonly. This is because there is a blockage in the filter, drain hose or plumbing
If the brain senses water in the floor then the machine will shut down. You have to remove the water, and find the leak. The moister sensor keeps your home from flooding should the tub get a terrible leak from a ruptured hose etc. You mission should you decide to accept it Mr phelps is to locate said leak and eliminate it before you have nasty clothes up the kazoo. This message will self destruct in five seconds Good luck Jim. LOL
Have you took the front cover off and looked for the strainer which is located before the water pump. I have seen many of them plugged tightly, causing the water not to drain. Look inside the owners manual that came with the machine. It also should give you some things to check that would cause the code E20 to keep flashing. Hope this helps.
your pump is blocked or faulty a way to check is pull your washer out put your outlet hose to the ground placed either in a bucket or out the door if water comes out pump is faulty if it doesnt than its blocked were your outlet pipe goes into back panel is were your pump is make sure washer is switched off undo tip up undo clamp water will come floding out better of doing this outside if it comes out of pump than your pipe is blocked
Check water "forreign object trap". It's under the lid at the bottom of the machine. First drain water by pulling out the hose and pull out the plug. Then unscrew the trap. Have had this E20 error twice. First it was two coins there, next it was a big paperclip. Have worked fine ever since.
