Eagle problems 1988 eagle bus motorhome v6 Detroit dies when at stop sign if it does not stall it will not take throttle if u turn it off then start it right back up its fine till next time u come to idle no matter 1/2 mile or 1000 miles someone please help

Possible IAC, idle control valve, trouble. Could be dirty. Did you add the sea foam through the throttle body or fuel tank? Also could be the electric control module.

Crank position sensor when this sensor fails the fuel pump will not turn on,and yes it stall out anywhere,and when it cools off it allows you to start up easily,it is located on the crankcase,above the starter

you could have a high fuel pressure problem and when holding the throttle all the way to the floor you put the system in flood mode which shuts off the injectors to burn off excess fuel in the engine.and when you release the throttle the system returns to normal.when driving you could be using the fuel that is being over supplied at the speed your driving.also the egr valve could be stuck open causing the engine to stall at idle.something to check out.

have the idle speed control checked out and the same with the throttle positioning sensor

try cleaning the throttle body if they get even a little dirty they will stall,be hard to start,idle iradically [idle dips at a stop then goes up]

Maybe a bad idle air controller on the throttle body. That is used to keep the car idling right when stopped.

Try a new fuel filter. If that doesn't help, check the fuel pressure--may be a plugged intake sock filter inside the fuel tank.

First suspicion - TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)

Wow! thats verry low miles for an 88. Check the fuel pressure at the injector. If the pressure is low the filter could be clogged or the pump is not putting out enough pressure. Replace both if the pressure is not up to par. also check the fuel relays.
