Just had this problem on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe with the "deluxe" lcd screen navigation system/radio/hands free phone. Screen was on, and responded to touch, but absolutely no sound. Just happened when I started it up after a cold spell, then a warmer spell. I removed the fuses for the Amp and the A/V system (see your owners manual or just take off the cover of the fuse box under the driver's side dash), let it sit for about 15 minutes, reinserted the fuse, and now it works fine. This resets the amp (or the A/V system), but like rebooting your computer.

I had the same problem, there is a tiny hole to the left of the radio, was told it is the rebout system for the radio, you can take the tip of a ink pen, put it in there and hold it until it resets.

When did this start? Was you experiencing any kinds of Bluetooth issues or streaming music issues or plugging into the car and playing music? Do you have the Technology package?

2011 ford escape no sound from radio

please check the speaker. usually the pigtail which connects the voice coil with the speaker lugs breaks with the movement of sound. if u have a soldering iron then you can resolder the wires coming from cone to the speaker connection lugs- but use short time to heat as over heat may burn the speaker cone.

Everything works except the radio. It appears

If have factory amp you have to find the turn ou wre for the amp and hook it up to the amp turn on wire from the radio(bootleg way sound might cut in & out) or go to local sound shop and get a bypass for the amp

No sound coming from radio on 2005 SV6

A lot of the new radios are software driven and there may be a new software update to fix this. Must be done by a dealer.
