The camera was not dropped or anything and everything is working fine except I cant see anything in the screen it is white and sometimes it will have a line going through it. What's wrong with it?

Solution that worked for me:
Beware: Although the process should be safe, it technically voids your warranty.
Enter the service menu:
1 - turn of tv with remote
2 - press and release in the following order on the remote: Info, Menu, Mute. Make sure remote is pointing at the tv
3 - turn on the tv from the remote
4 - you will see the service menu. using the down arrow on the remote select the Reset option. Using the right arrow button at this point will do a hard reset.
5 - Wait a few seconds, turn TV on
6 - you will have to rescan analogue and digital channel but it should be working now.

hi..Please to pass on the remedy..I had this two weeks ago.. lcd ribbon is brocken.. breaks over time with being opened and closed.. Part available form partmaster.co.uk.. part no..SAMAD9706489A.. lcd fpc ***. easy to replce ..take you time and try yourself.. if i can help with instructions [email protected].. cost of ribon £11.49.. the only possible thing you could do yourself is to remove the screws, pull it apart and try to blow dry. That's the only thing you can personally do.

the connector between the LCD and internal parts of the camcorder is called RIBBON. based on what you said, you need to call Samsung hotline for repair of your camcorder
