DVD won't play

Try to get other disk to read if you can not you may have a lens problem and will have to clean it. I would suggest using a fiber optic cleaning kit. You can find them on-line I beleive.
SOURCE: Dvd will not play movies
If you are getting a blue screen when you try to play the dvd, try this. Hit the input button on the tv remote. A list of items will come up. Hit the input button again and again until you reach the item on the list that says AV. Your dvd should then play just fine. One last thing. Once you get the dvd to play the parental code setting may come up. It says something like the parental code has been set. Select yes. It will ask you for a password. The password is 1369. You should have no problems.
Good Luck

On your dish remote, press and hold the tv button until all 4 buttons light up, then release. push either of the power buttons once. Now start pushing the down channel button, It's the one right below select, continue pushing it until tv turns off. When tv goes off push down button one more time then push up button, when tv turns back on stop and press # key, tv light will flash 3 times and should be set. Note....if u press down button and tv does not turn off after going through all codes( tv light will start flashing) press cancel and try again only channel up this time. hope this helps.

You have to replace the DVD player. The problem is that parts are not available and it's difficult to open the unit. There are about 20 screws to remove, including four screws hidden behind each fender. You have to pry the fenders and rip them off to break two brackets that hold each fender on. The fenders still hold on fine with the remaining seven tabs on each fender. You have to eject the disc to get the mouth off.
I have a working DVD player for sale. It's from a car TV with a defective picture circuit, but the player runs and I hear the movie soundtrack, so I'm 99% sure it's good. I broke the mouth off the player, but it could be glued back.
If you have a good motherboard for sale with a bad DVD player, I might buy the motherboard from you.
