You;ll have to examine it closely with a good flashlight to see if u can detect any gaps in drum to front cover (front and back), seam should be even all the way around if not it's gonna be out of balance and hit at points in its rotation , ive seen every thing from baby socks to necklaces get in there and mess it up

If it is like any other frigidaire dryer it is mounted on the upper right hand corner of the rear bulkhead.

Could be one of 4 problems:
All of the above are easy do at home repairs if you re handy. You should be able to get a good idea of what is wrong just by turning the dryer drum by hand. If the problem is the front bearing or guides, you will hear a grinding noise in the front at the top of the door.

Hello gen0313 - From what you are describing it sounds like the unit could possibly have a broken shock/bearing or damaged tub. A certified technician will need to accurately diagnosis the bearing and pulling system behind the drum for repairs.
