Products to use on oven door grime - Maytag MER5775Q Electric Kitchen Range

I cleaned the glass in my GE oven.

Take the door off and undo the screws holding the handle and set them aside. There were two screws in the bottom edge as well. The glass had clips to and bottom on both the inner and outer door. I removed both panes and sprayed them with Easy Off oven spray. The grime to the inner surfaces came off very easily. I cleaned the ledge that separated the glass as well. Then I rinsed them well and reassembled everything.

To replace oven door(s):

1. Grasp door at each side.
2. Align slots in the door with the hinge arms on the range.
3. Slide the door down onto the hinge arms until the door is completely seated on the hinges.
4. Push down on the top corners of the door to completely seat door on hinges.

Could be grime. If that is rust then maybe there is too much humidity at the location of the microwave. Could also be old age.

The problem is the release spring is broken or the button is sticking, pick up a small can of electronic cleaner attach straw and spray into the button crevis to break down the crud, grime, and dirt this should help release the mechanism.

I would scrape and clean has much as you can,from the oven,then turn your self cleaning oven on.Make sure your fan is on above the stove.the oven pretty much bakes the grime off at a high temp take your racks out before turning your oven on..much bakes the grime off

Almost every mircowave oven I've seen, has small hidden screws that hold the door assembly together (usually the same colour as the assembly). Look on the handle side (edge), or even at the bottom of the door for these (usually two) screws.
However, bear in mind that the 'grime' you mention, also sometimes acts as an adhesive and can make disassembly very difficult, particularly if it's been there for some time.

Not knowing what kind of dirt or grime is on the inside of the oven, I would recommend using one of these Whirlpool products. They all work great and they have different ones for different cleaning needs. Cleaners

Most toaster ovens don't have a self clean function, because they are not made of the same sturdy metal that full ovens are made of. Clorox Clean-Up works pretty well if you spray it on the grime and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before wiping it away. Let it sit longer for tougher dirt.

there is no easy way to clean these boots once they start to build up mold and grime.the best thing to do is replace the boot and when the unit has completed a wash cycle leave the door open for awhile until the boot has dried or simply dry off the boot after each wash cycle

If the grime is on the side toward the oven you can use easy off oven cleaner. If the grime is in between the two pieces of glass you will need to take the door apart to get at it. If you need to do this second step get back and i will talk you through it
