These elements are usually resistance welded on or are wired with rivets. You can replace welded connections with splice butts and rivets with screws, but make real sure the wires aren't going to pull loose and contact the housing.

Dualit toaster - timer sticking.

The dualit all electrical parts like elements and timer switch are all manufacture in china and they are not as they used to be. I have a customer with a toaster of 25 years old and we have replace only one heating element up to now. For recent models we replace electrical parts in about 2 to 3 years, some times every year as you describe.

The center panel of my 2 slice Dualit toaster is not heating. Can I replace it?

Inside your toaster there are four heating element plates two in the center and one in left end and one in right end.
Just switch on the toaster without any bread at maximum time and visualy inspect to see which side is becoming red and which not. Then you need to replace the element plates you see that they don't become red.
Remember that the two in center are the same called "CENTER" and the other two on ends are the same called "END"
They can easily be removed if you remove the bottom panel.

My Dualit toaster is 18 years old I have replace a couple of times the element but is always working perfect and with st. steel finish look perfectly new and impresive.

The heating element doesn't work in two of the slots.

If its a Dualit model then you should be able to get it repaired. Generally replacing parts on a Dualit is not easy but spares are usually available thanks to the fact that its one of the most well known commercial toasters on the market. Google and see if there's a repairer in your area.

Problems with Dualit 20247 2-Slice Toaster one of the elements is out. Both sides of one toast is good, the other heats up only one side, as the element on the right is dead. Where can i send this, as i...

It is probably not under warranty. I would advise getting a new one. By the time you send it off and pay the repair and get it back, you will have a repaired toaster will a question mark on when it will go down again. Get a new one same brand.
