Horizon Treadmill won't run?

Hi I connected a big mp3 player to my Horizon treadmill so I can listen to music. And as soon as I connected it their was a electric shock and now the treadmill does not run. It turns on and everything works like the fan and display. But it does not run. As soon as I turn it on it makes the motor attempts to start twice but than does nothing. What should I do? I replaced the motor but that did not fix the problem. Let me know thanks

How to take apart treadmill
Your model folds up and has wheels. If folding it up and rolling it still doesn't make it fit, detach the console supports at the bottom and leave everything else connected. You should be able to see the bolts on the bottom of your treadmill.

I have a Horizon fitness CST3 and the belt stops running but everything else stays on. Do you know what is cuasing my problem?
How old is your treadmill? Has the deck been lubricated? Do you smell anything odd when the belt stops? Unplug treadmill, remove motor cover and check cables are all connected.

The manual said that after lubricating the deck, press Stop and Speed buttons together for 5 minutes and this will reset the lubrication message and the treadmill should work.
