if you've already cleaned the contacts and replaced the battery, your transmitter unit needs to be replaced. You can purchase a new one through the link below. If your clock's model number isn't listed, use the "Contact us" link at the top of the page.
Seems to be a consistent problem with Skyscan. I have the 88800 model and my outdoor transmitter isn't transmitting the temperature either. We've replaced the batteries in both the transmitter and clock and nothing for outdoor temp. It's only been used for 9 months.
After replacing the transmitter batteries several times, I tried replacing the clock batteries. They must have been getting low. Once I put in new batteries in the clock it worked fine. Good Luck.
