Press menu quick setting << quick setting <> (service mode) go to service choise and go to maintenanc 0 ok press back IU LIFE STOP MODE press continues . press back go to clear data go to maintenac clear and supplies clear ok power off and on

SOURCE: What is m2 code how cani reset in Konica Minolta

This is to display the count of the supplies life counter.
When the counter is reached to 0 life 1 will be detected and maintenance call M2 will be appeared.
The initial value is 40,000, and the countdown system is used.
Use Setting/Procedure
- To clear the count, use [CLEAR DATA] of the Service Mode.

Replace the developer and the drum make sure counters are cleared first and that Gradation adj is run along with Toner adj

Konica mintola bizhub 164 maintainace call (M2)

replace the drum and developer and clear the counter also ensure you run the F8 after developer been replaced and new drum are installed

Reset error m2 in konica minolta 164

Replace the drum and developer first. Resetting counters with out replacing parts is not good. The machine works on base on counter info you reset counters then not replace parts the copier will adjust voltages on certain items when in fact they are same items image problems and codes.
