Purple lines scrolling, green in the middle, blinking on and off

I have a 61' JVC 61-inch HD-61Z575 and it just started having a few, kind of thick purple lines scrolling from bottm to top. Also, there is a green color across the middle portion of the screen. Finally, the set began to flick on and off and now barely works. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you.

Time for a new TV... Unless your really really really attached to that TV your going to spend more money on it then its worth to try and troubleshoot and repair it. Most of the TV's that come across my bench for repair that have developed lines and color splotches go into the recycling dumpster, they just aren't worth the time to repair as it usually comes down to a bad board or components that just can't be obtained to repair it. What most people don't realize is that once a tv is a couple years old there just isn't service parts for them anymore. The manufacturer keeps parts available until the warranty period is up on a model then its done for.

SOURCE: Purple and green scrolling lines

This may be a mechanical or electronic problem that is dealing with the sync of the colour wheel. There is basicly no colour lock. This may be the replacement of the associated circuit board, or the motor assembly or the colour wheel.

The link below is describing about how DLP technology works. They are relating to a front projection type. With the rear screen type, the basic technology is very much the same for decoding the pictures from the TV signal.

Blue colors are bright green

This model did have problems with : missing color (red, green or blue) and other issues like inverted picture-----it may need the main cpu reprogrammed which is done with a jig and two sd cards loaded into the set that way.

Replaced lamp in my HD 61Z575, but when I turn on my TV, nothing happens (no fan noise). After ~10 seconds, the Light LED starts blinking rapidly. Could it possibly be the brand new lamp? Ballast?

The old lamp was in there before the fan work?U replaced the lamp u put the door back on did u make sure the safety latch is off and tightly closed with the the lamp door. The continue blinking LED light does it make alot of clicking noises too.Yes,then the Ballast board it is dead too.The Ballast board only job are to help the projection lamp to ignite to work.

My jvc 61 inch tv is turning all green on me .was wondering if the lamp is the problem or something else ..?

No. Lamp can not cause one color to disappear or to be prominent. It is a circuit problem. You will need to consult an Authorized service
