Find an oil you like and mix it according to the oil recommendations.
I use Opti-2 in all my 2cycle fuel mix and it's a 100:1.
What the oil manufacturer says to mix the oil/fuel is what you go by, not what the engine manufacturer says.
Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix oil with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact
Mix oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine
oil, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US).
Do not use automotive oil or 2-cycle outboard oil
Here is link to owners manual too

Don't fret for now. Did you run the machine after? If so, there probably was enough residual oil mix still in the the tank/system to cover you.
If you did not run it, simply dump the gas in it and add the proper mix.
50:1 mixture. Trimlite, Trim 'n Edge, and EasyReach models. Pre-mix unleaded gasoline and 2-cycle engine oil in a clean 1 gallon container approved for gasoline. Unleaded gasoline. Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix oil with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US). Do not use automotive oil or 2-cycle outboard oil. Homelite manuals are quite hard to find. I'm sorry that I can't help you with that.
