UNLOCK MOTOROLA SYNC
DO NOT TRY MORE THAN TWICE ... u can only do 3 attempts .. if the third don't work u will freeze your phone
Unlocking the Sync Instructions
The idea is that you are changing your phone's 8-digit unlock code to all zero's.
(1)Turn off your phone and remove the sim card.
(2)Then power the phone back on.
(3)Enter the following numbers on the keypad: *2767*3855# this will restart your phone,
(4)When your phone has restarted and powered back on you will enter the following into the keypad *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
If your phone says wrong password, turn your phone off and put in an
unaccepted Sim Card into the phone (A sim card from another Service
Provider) and then start the process over again. If it says wrong
password even with the wrong Sim card, then you have reached your
second attempt, Do NOT try it again. Instead, go to Ebay and purchase
an unlock code.
(5)NEXT ENTER #7465625*638*00000000#
(6)AND THEN *#7465625# to check the locks....all locks should now be inactive or Off
If you find that some of your locks are still turned on, now
that you know your phone's unlock code, (00000000) you can use the
following codes to unlock individual locks on your phone (Where you see
the word Code you will put in your new unlock code, which is now
00000000:
#7465625*638*Code# = Disables Network lock
#7465625*782*Code# = Disables Subset lock
#7465625*77*Code# = Disables SP lock
#7465625*27*Code# = Disables CP lock
#7465625*746*Code# = Disables SIM lock
#7465625*228# = Activa lock OFF

but take your SIM card out first, or it'll delete everything on it. =)
FOR PEOPLE WITH PHONE FREEZE ON SAMSUNG- the #7465625*638*code# is not needed when you have the phone freeze just follow below.
I know how frustrating this was and i got it done by myself by experimenting since everything cant be googled that easily. i figured i can help anyone out. this has worked for 5 phones that i have done my self so 5 for 5 YESS!!! This is as satisfiying to me as watching micheal jordans final shot!

ok i figured it out. for all those people that have gotten the dreaded phone freeze om samsung propel a767 or any other samsung phone so far not sure about touch screen.
first look for a local unlocker in ur area or somewher that can provide the codes and get the unlock code and phone freeze code. mine was only 20 for both and took less than 24 to retrieve. email me for his info.
insert sim that you want to use (tmobile). you get the screen which says phone freeze. type in the freeze unlock code which was given and the press the att logo/menu button.
**YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE NUMBERS YOU ARE TYPING SO KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU INPUT**
after you have entered number and pressed button then you will get a network lock screen. this is where you type in ur unlock code. type that in press confirm and BAMM!!!! you are now able to use tmobile sim.
firset of all when the phone freezes, there is no screen to type in unless u go to make a call. ur not being specific. or do u have to get into the bios of phone i saw by going to star pund 69 pound and do it. can u do better and wehre did u get the unfreeze codes. that is useful. slow down . i need my phone unfrozen and dont wnt to pay that much

To unlock your Samsung phone you will need to enter the code. This code is
just a calculation of IMEI number of your phone. To find your phones
IMEI number -type *#06# into your phone or look under the phone battery.

I had this same issue. The response I got from Samsung is that only select AT&T store or Samsung themselves can unfreeze (reflash) a phone. Do not pay $18.99 for the "Samsung Remotre Client" software www.unlocksamsungonline.com. It is a scam. It doesn't work and it cannot work. They will not refund your money either. Two things to think about: 1st - any positive messages about the software are likely posted from the company itself. 2nd - call Samsung directly and they will reflash your phone for free including shipping. Although it takes a few weeks to get it back. It's really your only choice if your local AT&T store cannot reflash your phone. If you have had a similar experience with this company, please contact me about a group effort to contact the the FTC with complaints. Single complaints are ignored by the FTC. [email protected]

Try using *2767*3855#
Samsung mobile got freezed when you enter unlock code for more than 10 times. many of samsung mobile are having roaming lock. And when you are out of that city your mobile got freezed.
To unlock such mobile you first enter unfreeze code and then enter network unlock code for samsung. Normally network code for samsung is of 8 digit.
