After you connect your router to your computer via an ethernet cable, enter the router's home page by entering 192.168.1.1 on a browser. Once there, look for DNS and enter the open google dns numbers.

SOURCE: belkin router blocking programs
The firewall is probably set to block. The IP address for Belkin is 192.168.2.1. you can log in and set the firewall. Also, if it is a program like gaming , you may have to open a port for it.

There is not much protection you will be getting from the firewall of that router. You could let it be disabled and if you feel that the router firewall should be enabled then you might have to check if there is any firewall update for this product. You could log on to.. http://www.belkin.com/support and enter your product details including the version number you will be able to download the firmware.
Hope this helped.

No. Here's what you need to do. If you have an HDTV or LCDTV, connect it to your computer and connect the computer to your belkin router. That way, your computer will get signal from belkin routerand display it on the JVC tv you have.
