E1 is a general error. It means you can't press those buttons in that order. Press clear button to clear the error. Then enter any correct key sequence to continue

Taking a Quick Look

The E1 F2 error message indicates the control board thinks the touch panel has been unplugged from the board or it cannot read the switches. After getting access to the panel, you can see if it is indeed still connected to the control board, but when touching buttons on the panel, but if you notice some of them would beep while others do not respond at all, this was an indication that one of the switch matrix lines that run through the ribbon cable is no longer a complete circuit.

How it Works
The panels on these ovens utilize a switching matrix to constantly monitor all the buttons for a key press. By using a matrix for switch input, many buttons can be read by the processor using very few wires. The unfortunate side of a switch matrix is if any one wire becomes damaged, an entire row of switches on the matrix will no longer be usable since they cannot be seen by the control board. turn key to mc.. switch off.. holding down CLEAR not c.. switch back on should print CS on till roll.. then turn to pgm and program as needed..

E1-F5 means the self clean latch will not lock.

Try pressing down any key and hold for 1 minute, see if this clears it. If not you will most likely need the latch switch replacing.

E1 is just operator error, it normally occurs when the wrong keys are pressed or the machine has got itself into a bit of a loop. At exactly which point does the message appear? is it when you press a certain key?

The first thing to try is an initial clear:

Turn the key to P
Press and hold SUBTOTAL
Whilst continuing to hold SUBTOTAL turn the power off... then back on
Continue to hold SUBTOTAL until the receipt stops printing
Turn the key to R and give it a test.
