How do i transfer to dvd my 3 cd recovery disk?

you would have to create new ISO images for each cd and put them together to one image. I would advise against that because you can play a live cd on a dvd player but not vice versa. Plus it's a lot of work.
Hope this helps

Format/restore computer to factory settings

Press F11 at system startup to get to the NEC recovery menu. From there, you can restore your factory settings. However, a "destructive" recovery will wipe the hard drive, including your personal files. Best to back those up first before performing the recovery.

Hope this helps - remember to rate :)

Nec versa e2000 laptop

Joelmar, you are incorrect. This model was also sold with xp, I'm typing this on one. If you still have the original Hdd and have not formatted the recovery partition, boot up the laptop whilst holding the f11 key. This will start NEC recovery and allow you to reinstall the system, drivers included. Back up first!

If you cannot see the speaker icon in the taskbar, click on Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices and tick place icon in the taskbar. That's if a driver has been installed for your sound device which is a creative sounblaster I think.
