For water, which has a density of approximately 1 gram per milliliter (g/ml), you can use the following conversion:
5 mg of water is equal to 0.005 ml (milliliters).
So, 5 mg of water is approximately 0.005 ml.

Milliliter is a unit of volume, milligram is a unit of mass (or weight). There is no direct conversion between them.

5 mg of water occupies 5 ml. 5 mg of gold occupies about about a quarter of a ml.

How many mg is in .4 ml?

For water, 1 Liter (volume) has a mass of 1Kg.
milli (m) is "1/1000 of".
Kilo (K) is "1000 times".
So:

Mass: Volume:
1Kg = 1Lt
1 000g = 1 000ml
1 000 000 mg = 1 000 ml
1 000 mg = 1 ml
400 mg = 0.4 ml

Depending on what liquid you are weighing, the density / mass can vary.

If inkjet, I guess it will be similar to H2O.

If it sinks in water, it is denser.
If it floats on top, it's less dense.

A 5 ml bottle holds how many 60 mg drops of oil?

there is no direct correlation between ml and mg as one is a volume measurement and one is a mass measurement what you will have to get is the mass (grams) weight of 5 Ml of the oil before it can be determined

In a 5 ml bottle how many drops would there be if a drop is 60 mg?

You are mixing millilitres (Volume) with (Milligrams) Weight. For that you have to assume that 1,000 milligram is equal with 1 millilitre, but that only works with distilled water, which is also 1 cubic centimetre.

1,000 milligrams Therefore, there must be 1,000 milligrams in a milliliter, making the formula for mg to ml conversion: mL = mg / 1000 .Dec 21, 2021

How many milliliters to milligrams?

Converting MG to ML will vary depending upon the density. It is not possible to know how many MG equal ML because milligrams are used to measure weight and milliliters are used to measure volume. You would need to know the density of the item that is being measured.

Convert mg to ml

Milligram is a unit of mass (or weight), milliliter is a unit of volume. Any conversion between them depends on the density.

62.5 milligrams of water occupies 62.5 milliliters. 62.5 milligrams of gold occupies about 3.2 milliliters.

How to convert mg to mL

mg is a unit of mass, ml is a unit of volume. There is no conversion between them. A mg of water occupies about a ml, a mg of lead takes up a lot less space.
