Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dryer, model# LEQ1442ES0, shutting itself off after about a minute. I see that the lights to the far right flash 6 times and then the start and cancel button flash 2 times. This also, only seems to occur when the weather is warm and humid. I suggest putting a dehumidifier near your dryer during the warmer months to see if this helps to draw the humidity away from the dryer. The humidity can cause your appliance to not run as it should. The other suggestion I have, would be to reset your dryer. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

My frigidaire dryer GLEQ2152ES0 runs but no heat ?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you are receiving an "AD" error code on your Frigidaire dryer, model# GLEQ2152ES0. I also see that your dryer is not heating. The "AD" code states that your appliance is in an auto dry cycle. I suggest resetting your dryer, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. If further troubleshooting is needed, I ask that you please let me know the error codes displayed on your appliance. Hope this is helpful.

Dryer is tumbling but no heat - when I reset it shuts off after about 10 min and the Drying, Cool Down, and Extended Tumble lights are all flashing.

Janet McDonald,

I understand that you are having trouble with your dryer not heating and not running a full cycle and shutting off with the Drying, Cool Down, and Extended Tumble lights flashing. What I suggest is to give your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. After the 3-5 minutes, bring power back and try to start a cycle. If it does not complete the cycle and shuts off with the lights flashing, I suggest to either contact the manufacturer or a local appliance technician. This way you will be able to locate the cause of this issue and have it resolved.

Frigidaire Gallery model GLEQ2170KSO dryer turns off within a minute.

Hello allisonarena - Try reprogramming the dryer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on the unit. If issue persists, then the dryer may possibly be experiencing more serious issues such as; wiring failure, faulty control board, thermal limiter, or defective door switch. I would recommend connecting with an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further and to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Dryer runs for 10 mins and shuts off.

Your dryer motor has a thermal overload built in to it. If your symptom is shutting down allow to cool and it works again for a few minutes the shuts down again.

About 12 to 20 minutes into the drying cycle, the dryer stops and all of the led lights start flashing (drying, cool down, press saver, clean lint filter". Also, the dryer doesn't seem to get warm,...

sounds like a restriction in the venting process, i would first disconnect the vent tube and run the dryer, if that clears the problem then I would clean out the vent tube. If not then I would take apart dryer and clean out all of the lint. Hope this helps Tim

Dryer shuts off after 15 minutes and needs to cool down then will start again and the cylec continues!!On, off,on, off.

The problem is more likely a high temp limit switch. I don't have a schematic of your dryer, but one should be included somewhere on the dryer. You have to use a voltmeter to test the components in the circuit. The thermostat controls the heat temp, you may want to start there
