It sounds like the drum has broken from the rear mount. This will chew up the outer shell. This is a very labor extensive job. The parts are expensive also. You will probably need a new outer shell and inner drum.
This dryer is built by westinghouse which is now owned by electrolux. The drum rides on a rear center bearing and a set of plastic glides on the front. Common things that goes wrong are missing glides, broken belt, and broken center bearing. To get inside the machine you pop the top. Get the front off, then remove the drum. Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that... 1. They are there and mount is solid. 2. If they are broken in 1/2. 3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken. 4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.
Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.
Replace/repair as necessary.

You probably have a broken motor coupling. It's between the motor and the gearcase. It's plastic and rubber. if you look under your washer you will probably see some broken plastic on the floor.
