I believe you asked the same question before.... Make sure the waste toner cover / plug is removed and that you shook the cartridge to loosing the toner. You may have recieved a bad or defective toner cartridge...Good Luck

Change IC connector on toner unit with two screws neer gears of toner cartridge.
The toner cartridge is not installed, or the printer detects a toner cartridge error. The error is caused by a defective cartridge, an unsupported cartridge an invalid refill, or a cartridge meant to be used in another geographic region.
If the toner cartridge is not installed, install it. If the toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install a new toner cartridge.
For Cartridge errors, Press and release the right button twice briefly to display secondary error codes.
