Check tube to water pressure switch. The wall of the rubber tube on my machine had worn through due to friction. Taped it up to make sure this was the problem. No H2O code and machine working!

Not sure whether H20 means "no water" or "overfilling" (google it) but it sounds like its over filling due to inlet solenoid valve not closing when it should. There may be a little plastic pot at the back of the drum with wires out the top - this is the pressure switch which detects the level in the machine and supposed to stop the water coming in when is full. The little pipe to it may be blocked so it doesnt know the machine is full and keeps filling.

Another cause may be the inlet solenoid valve doesnt close (sticking open).

Door should never open by itself - thats a separate fault with the door locking mechanism, the extra pressure of water is forcing door open.
Very Dangerous, you or your children could open door when its going round and get you arm mangled if the drum starts suddenly.

SOURCE: Error 15 on a Hotpoint WM72 Washing Machine

The problem is your pump or filter is blocked,
Remove rear cover of washer, and remove large black hose from tub, remove and clean filter inside hose, check for a blockage in pump, refit filter and hose, and it should now be o/k.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: h20 error

Hello

I used to get this when i lived with my mum & dad and i can honestly say that it was the water pressure with this machine only a small drop in pressure makes the H20 error code appear you can always add additional water when it comes on so that the cycle can continue. You could find out from your water board if the drop in pressure is a leak in your area?

I hope this helps i had to persist with this problem for 18 months untill a leak around the corner was eventually found and fixed.

Wendy

SOURCE: washing machine door wont open on hotpoint

remove the front kick strip, on the LHS you will notice a yellow tag. with the power on on the machine pull down twice gently on this tab. this should unlock the door.

if you now notice the drum is full of water its more than likely your filter is blocked and this is what caused the door not to open.

MY washer fills, sometimes stops without completing the wash, sometimes it shows a completed cycle but the clothes are too wet to dry, sometimes during a cycle it will turn off with the door locked.

Sounds like a draining problem - Check the drain filter isnt blocked, if fitted before doing anything else - remove the filter and clean it. Then, can you hear the drain pump running on the drain cycle (drum not moving but pump should be) - a chug chug chug noise and water should be flowing down the waste pipe. Door WILL lock if the machine is full of water or is slow to drain - to prevent floods. Do NOT force the door open without draining - you will only break the door handle.
If water not flowing on drain - and filter clear - may be blocked pipe, sock stuck in sump hose - coin or counter flipped on edge in a pipe and blocking it - something like any of the above. Clothes too wet to dry is classic partially blocked drain pipe symptom - or spin aborted as drum out of balance.

My aqualitis aqxxf149pi is displaying h20 error code, filling correctly at start of wash cycle but mid cycle starting to add excessive water before it goes on drain and spin resulting in flooding

H20 is a water warning. The machine THINKS it has no water coming in (Hence it continues to fill and fill because it can''t see the water). 99% of the time, this is a blocked rubber pipe that goes to the pressure sensor. Water in the drum fills the bottom of the rubber pipe and as the water rises, the air pressure in the pipe increases, which operates a bellows device in the pressure sensor. If the pipe is blocked, the pressure sensor won't operate and it will continue to try to fill until it times out. There COULD be a wire off the sensor or a wire that goes to the sensor loose on the main board, there could even be a failed component on the main board, but all of these scenarios are ar less likely than a blocked pressure sensor pipe. Take the lid off, pull the pipe off the bottom of the sensor, blow down it hard and this may well clear the blockage. Put the pipe back on the sensor and test. Come back if you need more advice

H20 flashing on the front

This means the water is not on check the pipe and make sure the tap is fully on and try the machine again. if u checked this then check the filter to do this take off the pipe at the machine and there is a filter if it is clear then you can put the pipe back on and try again. Hope this helps.

H20 ERROR SPIN DRYING

The error indicates a problem with the incoming water supply.
Check for restricted or kinked inlet hose/s, check that tap/s are fully turned on and that you have adequate water pressure.

According to the Hotpoint error code list H20 indicates to check taps and pressure of incoming water..
So make sure you have adequate pressure of water at the valves, low hot water pressure can cause problems..
Also what I would do would be to check the filter located in the sump hose at the rear of the m/c,\this can leade to a sticking water level s/w..
Hope this helps.
Plz leave feedback.
Thanks.
