I have a foam belt that fell out when I opened my foods aver. Not sure where it came off of

There is air leaking in somewhere. Make sure there are no wrinkles in the bag at the sealer location. Also, make sure the seal on the bottom of the bag is complete or the machine will simply suck air from the bottom and out the top. Make sure there are no food particles stuck in or to the sealer mechanism.

I don't have a Rival but have a Foodsaver vacuum sealer. If I have trouble getting the air to vacuum out, I remove the black foam seal from the machine, run it under water for a minute, shake off the excess, and reseat the seal. For some reason, the water helps create a seal. It also helps remove food that may have leaked onto the foam seal.

If the wire that heats and melts the bag is damaged, it may not be sealing the bag completely.

Does it try to vacuum but never flattens the bag? Make sure the bag you are using is completely sealed on the opposite end. Otherwise, the seal on the sealer is probably allowing air to leak into the sealer. If it has a foam sealer, I've found it sometimes helps to run the foam sealer under water, squeeze out the excess water, reinsert the foam sealer (make sure it is seated all the way) and then try again to seal the bag.

sir the pin hole is the best solution but since u r unable to find it then the only solution remains to unscrew the DVD and check the door opening belt is not broken\stuck... just move it a little bit and the hatch may open... but before going through it please try to strike ur DVD with your hands a little bit while pressing the eject button repeatedly... this might help in moving the stuck belt inside... rate this solution if you watch awesome movies on your newly repaired DVD

Check the condition of the belt if it looks worn (cracks and wear along the sides of the belt ) replace it . This is also a good time to check your power steering pump for fluid. Make sure its at the correct level and there is no foaming or bubbles in it. If there are bubbles or foaming it must be bled ( good idea to replace fluid at this time)

Your oil has broken down already.
Replace it.

High heat, water, and burned food particles break the oil down in time. You probably need to replace your oil with fresh if you notice any of these symptoms:


Excessive smoking at normal temperatures

Strong oil discoloration

A rancid smell

Excessive foaming around the frying food

Make sure your plate is accurately centered onto the brown circle with wheels. And make sure your brown circle has all of it's wheels, and make sure that's centered into the middle piece. If all else fails, it's likely the microwave belt that turns the table has broke off or fell off. You might wanna check the bottom of it, you'll need a screw driver for that.

Also note: Microwaves can still cook food even if the table does not turn, older microwaves didn't have this feature. Good luck and please rate my answer

These are the parts-Tank,tray,brush roll,brushroll housing,belt,hose,foam screen(small,quarter sized plastic screen)large foam air filter,(should be on the air inlet at tank).

Starting with brushroll,install belt over brushroll,and place brushroll in the trayInstall the brushroll housing over the top of tray..Looking thru the back,turn the belt lifter knob until the hook inside picks up the belt.Raise the height adjuster on the Kirby all the way up.Attach the entire assembly to the front of maching,and lock it on.Now turn the belt lifter clockwise until the belt drops onto shaft.Snap the elbow end of hose to tray.Before attaching the other end of hose to tank,make sure the foam screen is fitted onto the small outlet at tank,then install hose.Note:Sometimes the screen will be in the tank end of hose allready.Without this screen,you wont get foam,only solution.Make sure the foam air filter is installed in the large opening at the tank,or dirt will get into tank,clogging it.Install the tank to the blower side of machine.You should be ready to go.Lower the height adjustment all the way down.

the air damper is stuck open or tempature control is bad. look thru the vents(use a mirror) on the left rear(top side) of the fresh food compartment (right hand door) to see if the air damper is open/closed. i am sure it will be open since your freezing food in the ref section. if it is open ,watching with your mirror turn ref (fresh food) control off. the air dmper should close, if not damper could be stuck(ice build up,piece of foam,ect) if you can determine damper door is free, then best thing to do is replace controlassy.(120.00 or so) good luck

The question is why did the belt come off? this is unusual.

The belt does not have a tensioner the motor does this. you will need to loosen motor and then apply belt tension. Typical belt tension is 70lbs.

While you have the machine open make sure the driven pulley is tight, and doesnt wiggle or move you may have bearing problems.

How does the belt look, frayed or ripped you could have a bad belt unlikely but this could have been original problem, however check machine out first.
