Dusty particles on one side of the screen - Dell 1210S Projector

Hi ,When dont use the bike, remember the gas have little particles that land deep tank, carburetor,hose , and gas filter , those particles remove too ,cleaning with air or solvent the gas filter ( under tank) ,gas bolts ( into carburetor) , injection system ( on the case) . Other option is engine service every short time , if all around (weather , gas station,ways) are very dusty. Good Luck

Sounds like either a SERIOUS hard drive issue (could be dusty or damages) or particles in the cooling fan that desperately need to be cleaned out. Have you looked inside your machine to make sure the fan is clean? Over abundance of dust can quickly cause cooling fan to stop, cpu to over heat and protective mechanisms kick in and shut down the machine.

Try to vacuum the back, bottom, sides and keys of your machine if you can not get it open. If you can, vacuum everything you can reach. Just be careful. :)
If this doesn't help you may want to get your hard drive tested or replaced.

The part that has gathered dust may be a clip-on cover and it is very common for screws to be hidden under clip-on covers or in the battery compartment of the cell phone if you are able to get the covers off be extremely careful with the accusal screen because they are very easy to scratch and finger prints will only smug and make things worse if you have a lens cleaner for eye glasses I would recommend that for cleaning the screen do not use any kind of liquid to help even if it is just damp it will still leave marks.

You must have dusty mirror box area. Here is what you should do. 1. Remove lens from the body. 2. Blow out any dust from the mirror box area using can duster (careful not to spew out liquid). 3. go to menu and select mirror up or ccd clean mode. You can also set at manual shutter speed "B" and hold up the mirror. 4. Blow out dusts over the CCD sensor (Do Not Use can air! If any liquid sprayed on CCD the cleaning gets worse) so use Hand-squeezee air bulb. You can purchase one from any camera stores.) 5. test shots and repeat. 6. If this procedure did not resolve the removal of the dust, you can purchase a cleaning solution package and try it. I do not recommend it becasue our techs get lots of cleaning requests from these package. Remember, if you are using these solution, 1. Never give any pressure to the screen, just tissuie touch pressure only. 2. move circular motion as you mouth blow the air as you move. complete the motion exiting through the corner of the screen. Did not work? send it to repair techinician! Our tech cleans it for $49. 24 hour turn around and also checks the camera too. Good Luck

Check if there are dust particles on the sides between the cover and the touch screen. There may be bigger particles there who push the touch screen and that's why it doesn't work.
If it's clean then you need a new touch screen or flex cable.

If the specks are just on your viewfinder focussing screen, they won't be on your pics. If they're on both your pics and focussing screen, you need to find someone else to clean your camera. Cleaning either your CCD sensor or your screen yourself can leave scratches. Changing lenses often can suck dust into the inside if the body is dusty. Try another repair shop for thorough cleaning - it shouldn't cost more than $50.
