Gorenje has some documentation for their washers here: http://www.gorenje.com/simplicity/en/washing_machines/simple_manual_for_washing . The numbers indicate the water temperature (in Celsius) for a given cycle. The common choices are a cottons load in hot water (60 degrees). This is great for towels and other whites. The mixed load is for permanent press that can be in warm water (40 degrees). Then there is a cold water cycle for delicates (30 degrees). However, you should check the fabric care label before choosing the cycle.
