I recently went to fold up my treadmill to vacuum and somehow knocked red part of the power switch off making it impossible to turn on. I took the 4 screws out of the cover and removed the cover I then unplugged the leads to the switch, took the switch out, and after several attempts, managed to get the switch back together and reinstalled into place. The power was restored when I flipped the switch however, now when you set it to go, everything works (ie incline moves up and down, time is set, length is set but when you hit "start" it goes no where. It worked prior to the switch being knocked off so I'm hoping I just jarred something loose or maybe plugged something in wrong??
Hi There, if you can see a part number on the lower control board add that for us. If the Lift works but there is no belt movement, check motor wire connections to the lower board. You mentioned repairing the switch, but not many have taken a rocker-switch apart and they carry a good amount of current. I suspect the control board has failed or lost a connection. If there is NO belt movement at all before an error then there is no motor drive available, meaning possible bad drive section or failed FET. If there is belt movement for a second and then an error, there is a missing feedback or connection. The "Relays" mentioned are a good point on most Horizon treadmills, there will be a "pair" of "Clicks" when the belt drive is energized. The first quieter click is a small precharge relay, and .3-seconds later if bias power is ok, there will be a louder relay click of the main safety relay, shaped like an "L" which switches out the precharge relay and supplies that motor drive circuit. Check all connections and if you have a meter and are handy with electronics you can measure the main FET for a short but only out of the machine and unpowered. Good Luck
DEAR
IF YOU LISTEN SOUND OF RELAY AFTER START YOU FORGET SET MOTOR WIRE IN OTHER WISE YOUR MOTOR CONTROL BOARD IS DAMAGE

you need to check voltage going to the motors. no power ,the contoller board is not working. check the connections on the boardmake sure they are in all the way, also the power connections
