Whrilpool light in dryer not on and the dryer will not come on

Check to make sure it's getting full 240vac power. Some or most driers are fed from two breakers in the box. If one is tripped you aren't getting enough power. That could be causing the blinking light. Also check for enough exhaust flow to prevent overheating.

Hello- The touch control pad is failing and must be replaced. If unit is under warranty, get it serviced. This control is about 125$. Let me know if this info helps. Thanks-Ed

Good luck finding one. I look at the wires. They are marked with the same letters as that of each dryer terminal. I have a plain jane dryer manual from whirlpool but I doubt it will help much.

Sounds like something you will need a repair man for.Unless you are mechanically inclined it sounds like it's electrical.

make sure the door switch is ok. Usually you will be able to hear a click if not then the door switch can be broken, Or it could be the fuse stat in the dryer.

Check your door switch for continuity. If no continuity,replace it.

u have a maf coil the dryer has a prim/ second coil remove and replaced come in a kit

Three things you can check the door switch is it clicking? The thermal fuse you want to make sure there is continuity or worse case would be your motor.

The repairman just took the front off my dryer and cleaned the dust from the components, now it works just fine, and I had the same problem as you.
