I was playing with my psp when it just froze like it is hanging and the screen goes shaking like a cd that is hangign..playing one part of the tune over and over again..i tried taking the battery out and putting it back again...but it wont solve it...pls help!

take off the battery and try again. If this doesn't help then the copy of the mlb game is defective.

Or you can just update your PSP through your computer (if you have internet)

Now i want more info.
What model is it? and when you turn it on now what happens?...
This might require you to re-flash your psp.
and by how it sounds to me it seems like you dont really have much experience with psp's
Try searching on google for "Unbrick PSP" you will find more info.
Another way is to go on craigslist.org and search around your location for "psp" reapair ppl. Usually this should not cost more then 20 bucks.

Actually that always happens with the psp depending on the game you wanna play. I found out that some games take a whole lot of time to load up than other games. For example Mightnight Club 3 takes ages to load up but if you play soduku or Daxter for example it takes a whole lot less. So my sujestion is patience, patience, and more patience.

buy a new one

cleen the umd laser with a q-tip and windex. dampen the q-tip andwipe across umd laser. dry with other side of q-tip. take out game wen turning psp on

hai. this is due to huge heat produced in your psp memory

so dont use the psp to heavely with high work load like doing multiple operation at the same time

that is what happens to me i put graf theft auto libery city stories in my psp i turn it on the green ligh come on and it just sits there with a blank screen
