The documents I save are opening but are unreadable. The conversion info is no working. It is weird. I save the document I created using microsoft word and when I go to open the document on the same computer, it opens as gibberish. Help
Check the file system format of the drive. With the drive plugged into the USB port, right click that drive letter and go to Format. There is a drop-down that will tell you what it's formatted to now. Today the industry standard is NTFS. To make sure that there are no conflicts also check the format your C: drive. These should both be the same. If your C: drive is FAT32, you will want to format the flash drive to FAT32.
CAUTION: Formatting a drive will wipe all of the data on the drive. DO NOT FORMAT YOUR C: DRIVE TO MATCH THE FILE SYSTEM OF YOUR FLASH DRIVE.
Scan the pendrive for virus infection, that may be the possible cause.Or try formatting it once and then check again if you cannot fix it using a antivirus.
