I also have a Michelin 3 1/2 ton jack that will jack up. My guess is that it needs hydraulic fluid but I have no idea where to fill it with fluid. Where do I refill the fluid at on this jack?

MOST JACKS HAVE A BOLT LOOK PLUG TO REFILL THE JACK AND YOU DO IT WITH THE JACK AT THE LOWERS POINT, SOME HAVE A RUBBER PLUG. YOU CAN USE P/S FLUID OR TRANMISSION FLUID TOO TO REFILL IT.

SOURCE: ATF fill station

Hi,
The ATF stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid which controls your power steering. You might have observed your steering has gotten a bit more stiff... or will eventually get to this. This ATF is different from the hydraulic fluid which controls your brakes. You need to take it to a BMW automechanic who would top it up. It is sold in containers like hydraulic...you will buy it and give it to mechanic for refilling. The container for this is in the bonnet just below the windscreen almost at bottom of engine. also ensure that the lid is not open and the container is not broken in any way to leak the ATF

My jack dose not pump up were to put fluid in

Presume it a hydraulic jack. Most are sealed, some of the more expensive types will have a valve, usually hidden somewhere.
But what you need to look for first is where it is leaking from.
If it has lost fluid chances are one of the seals have blown.

I need hydraulic fluid for my 2008 Mitsubishi Spyder convertible top.

I would not feel insecure using hydraulic oil for rams and jacks as those items need to be reliable, scoot down to your auto parts store and grab a bottle, remember to fill with rams compressed. hope this helps.

How do you add hydralic fuild to a yardworks 4-ton woodsplitter

all hydraulic fluid is added when the operation piston is in the fully retracted position. IF the reservoir is around the hydraulic cylinder there will be a fill plug at one end Fill here until the fluid is just under the threads of the hole.. If there is a reservoir tank then fill to the point on the dip stick. or to the bottom of the filler filter plate.

Height of a factory jack for a jeep grand cherokee laredo 2004. I recently discovered the jack was missing - how high must the replacement jack go (scizzor or Bottle) necessary to thange a tire

If dont remember bad, at '02 came with scissors, after '03 and upper came with bottle.

This is my suggest, 6-21" lift, seems like a good size for the WJ. Moderately priced.
Michelin 2½-Ton Jack $89.99 (CDN)
* Hydraulic Speedy Lift is a patented design - the fastest way to reach car chassis
* 6" - 21" maximum height is ideal for SUVs
* Wider jack stance increases overall stability of the jack
* Unique design combines aesthetics and strength in the overall jack design
* Universal joint ensures smooth release and secure valve operation from any pumping angle
* Storage tray is ideal for keeping track of small parts or hardware
* Saddle pad helps prevent damage to vehicle during lifting

Keep in mind the use that your Jeep is very important, also if your like to practice off-road tours.

Hope this helps.
