Sounds crazy but check for power at the outlet. If that's good then possibly a bad cord,Power switch or interlock safety switch if it has one. Do you hear a humming sound when you try to use it? If so the motor is frozen up. Hope this helps.

Just received my new Hamilton Beach stand mixer model 63394 a few minutes ago. After unpacking it, Itried to move the "iilt" button to lift the head, but it wouldn't move. Can you help?

Instructions say to "press" (push in) the head tilt button. If the button wont move, try moving head up and down while applying pressure to the button.

My Hamilton Beach model 63220 mixer won't mix motor is running but mixer is frozen and will not turn

If mixer is locked in down position, and you hear motor running, the problem could be worn gears in mixer head. Check warranty and return to place of purchase or take to small appliance repair shop for estimate.

Trying to take apart the hamilton beach stand mixer to fix it

There should be a few screws on the underside that will allow you to remove the top. You may have to take the head off the base to do this.

Hamilton Beach Model 27 (antique milkshake blender)

First off, check the supply cord. They usually dry out and the insulation crumbles, particularly at the point where they enter the body or motor. They short out. I've replaced cords on antique stand mixers I own. It can be a tricky operation.
Is the motor seized? Can you turn it by hand? (NOT plugged in, of course.)
If all else fails, send it to me and I'll fix it for a reasonable fee, if it is fixable at all.
