Check that the H1[ fuser lamp] comes on when the Main Power
Switch is set to ON, and correct or replace as necessary.

Check that the H2 comes on when the Main Power
Switch is set to ON, and correct or replace as necessary.

Check the installation of the TH1 and the TH2, and
correct or clean as necessary.

Check the operation of the TH1.
Remove CN80 (4P), and then check that the resistance
across CN80-2 and -3 on the Thermistor is
infinity.

Check the operation of the TH2.
Remove CN81 (4P), and then check that the resistance
across CN81-2 and -3 on the Thermistor is
infinity.

Check the continuity of the H1.
Correct or replace as necessary.

CAUSE: Complete fax kit was not installed.
SOLUTION: These three items make up the complete fax kit, FK502, MK706 and MK704. If not installed together, the C250/C252 will display code CD231.

Your configuration sharing SMB folder is incorrect. Create desktop folder rename all upper case SMB right click on the folder and click sharing and set full control to everyone. Go to web brouser type in the ip address of the printer log on to administrator password 8 zeros or 12345678 and change the setting.
