Uninstall the wireless drivers from your computer and reconfigure the settings.....these issues are generally related to the printer drivers.....

HP J4680 says "printing" but won't print

just check it weather it is detecting your pc or laptop. if it is detecting check it is scanning working fine or not, if it is scanning fine you need to update firmware and check it. still getting same issue you need to replace the main pca board.

I cannot print from laptop to wireless hp j4680 printer

Hi
one possible cause for this could be your connection setup. Make sure your antivirus is not blocking incoming connections from other wireless devices. You must disable your firewall for your wireless connection to be accessible to other wireless devices. If you're using norton then your firewall is managed by norton, so you should disable the firewall from the norton interface. Hope this works.

I just got a new windows 7 laptop and my hp j4680c all in one will print and fax but not scan?

hi msplamann,
First check your printer is it copying manually from the printer screen? to copy put a page in the scanner close it and look for a button or an option in the printer which says black or color copying and press it whithout having it connected to the laptop.if it prints then you have a problem in drivers in the laptop. Reinstall them fully not partially
hope it helps!!!!
tell me how it goes
Thanks and please click the green ACCEPT button if you are satisfied with my answer

J4680 won't print from laptop, laptop sees 4680 and it gives me an error

WEll, you are short of information but I'll take a stab:
the printer needs to be connected to your router, then you need to use the INSTALL program and NOT plug and play or Windows install printer, to have the printer work wirelessly, on each system.

Remove sharing from host computer, which is likely usb wired to the printer.
