Does the kick plate have to be removed from the bottom of the Kitchen Aid Superba KSR52206WH00 refrigerator?
Hi, the filter should be on the bottom kick plate and should have a cap of the same color as the kick plate.
Hope this helps

To the person who hears a clicking sound you are correct, the compressor is trying to start but is not starting and that causes the overload to trip (click) wait a short time and it all happens again. Either the start relay is bad or the compressor is locked up. Less than 1 year old should be in warranty. If you want to try to check the relay you will need to unplug it from the side of the compressor. Once removed try to shake it and if you hear a rattle noise the relay is bad. To test the compressor you would need a test tool or be very experienced to perform accurate test.

I would suggest not buying a KitchenAid. I have the same problem with my ice maker. Have had nothing but problems with every KitchenAid product that I have ever owned. I will never purchase another KitchenAid product.
All of there appliances are second rate. That is "The KitchenAid Difference"
