mcdevito75 here, You can try to replace the battery, and try this, remove the battery-ies, step on and off the scale then re-install battery-ies and see.If nothing works, contact scale manufacturer.

I have a tanita body composition scale BC-534. It suddenly stopped working. I have new batteries. Is there a way to reset the digital disolay?

Sounds like a warranty issue. I would try to return to place of purchase if not here is web address on manufactures site with instructions on warranty.
