Rca tv i have a rca tv f32649 model number and had a zenith remote that worked it. we went to replace the batteries in the remote and then it would not work again and we do not know how to reprogram the remote. after this we went and bought a rca universal remote and it works the tv well but it will not access the av channel or the input channel or the channel for the jacks on the front of the tv so i cannot use my dvd player any suggestions?

1) Buy RCA remote part # 240895 original about $25.00
2) Enter channel 00 for video sometimes works
3) Channel down 4-3-2-Vid 1, Vid 2, etc. sometimes works
4) Try Auto-Program Channels selection ( can be accessed on
front of set buttons or remote

Universal remotes will be missing key functions in these units.

Zenith (and for that matter most brands) do not make these units--about 4 companies make most of them.

Your best bet is to try to locate an original remote--Zenith(LG) or Google the model number "original remote" or even search EBAY.

ha i can help a little ,i also have a rca universal and same tv,vcr combo,the codes in the list rca provides
do not work ,but if you go through the code search procedure componet vcr,until the set turns off
hit enter,this will allow for power on off funtions and ch up down or number keys,also vcr functions,
but no vol, control or menu nevigation,hope this helps a little

I have a zenithZ remote control and i need to kni=ow if it will work on my rca television
if you have this zenith remote the ZN110. then yes it should work your RCA TV. but no one knows the codes or how to program it. so i suggest for you to try and get your original remote that goes with your tv. find the model number of your tv and go to www.replacementremotes.com and search for it. then they will bring up your original remote, if your original is no longer available then they will show you a compatible replacement.

It's a Zenith remote, MBR 3440 is the model #, 124-202-01 is the part #. To program, press and hold PRG button until red light stays on, press TV,AUX etc, enter 3 digit code (www.xdiv.com) press Enter.

RCA F32649
Sounds like you have a shorted horizontal out put transistor and bad flyback transformer. This is a common problem in the newer RCA's. I've had serveral of them do this. The noise that you hear is the power supply telling you that it's overloaded. Stargazer
