Disconnected where? If the wire came out of the throttle your hall sensor is probably mangled and you will need a new throttle. Any other damage just splice it. Did the wires come off the plastic connector at the controller?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Razor health and beauty category.

It is a known issue, but it may also be that you haven't depleted enough power for it to require a charge?

My son's Razor MX650 Electric Dirt Bike charged all night. The light on the charger shows green but the light on the bike is yellow and the bike wont go at all. What would cause this?

Question edited to add full make model (what it is).
Question moved from 'Health and Beauty' Category.

Sounds like either the charger isn't providing power at the connector, despite the green light, or that there is a battery fault. Contact the maker in Warranty Returns or start testing with a multimeter.

??????????4 out of 5 stars.Ā· 2 years ago Great but......Back brake pads worn out within first 6 months as well as the battery. Second battery only lasted 4 months . HORRIBLE.. warranty I believe is like 30 days. Hard to replace battery. Literally have to take apart whole middle section of bike to remove it. Parts are extremely high in price.

Razor MX500, new batteries fully charged, suddenly stopped responding. No power, no click, nothing.

Thoughts -
No/poor connection between power source and motor
Motor failure
Only someone with their hands on the bike can fully diagnose.

What could be the problem if my son dirt bike says its fully chaged but when he turns the throttle nothing happens

Did the socket the charger was plugged into actually have 120vac in the socket?
Or are you sure the charger is actually working? Is there a short so that the battery is draining as fast or faster than the charger is providing a charge?

What can be wrong with my grandson's dirt bike. It was just taken out of the box and charged yesterday. Today we charged it but the bike won't move.

I think you can a new dirt bike charger easily on Amazon or on the razor website. Be aware of how you use the battery though, it is the same idea for a lot of mobility equipment (electric scooters, electric wheelchairs, electric bikes, and etc...). You need to use the battery PROPERLY. For example, charge them from time to time, don't leave them there for a long period of time just because you don't need to ride out your electric dirt bike. Your battery's longevity will get hurt. Also, protect it from water and dust. I learn a lot more about outdoor sports equipment on this site: https://mobilityseeker.com/.

Why is my Razor motorcycle MX350 battery showing green but not charging

yes!your battery needs replacement.....throttle clicking after a full charge is a sign,...but that's after 2years or more, depending on how it's being used..your motor can go bad before then if you been riding in the rain--wet connectors in or out the motor can not get wet for any reason..a full dirt motor bike can not get full dirty with mud..mud catains water/water and electricity don't mix/////.motor/thottle/moisture.

Hi, my son has an electric razor quad bike with two 6 volt batteries. We have just replaced both batteries and the full charge light shows when you switch it on but it still wont start up. Can you...

The batteries should be 2 x 12v giving an output of 24v anything less than this the Razor Dirt Quad will not run. always make sure you buy genuine Razor replacement batteries.
