I've tried I've went into setting and tried it that way to sync my account but it keeps cutting off and I keep getting the message sinks currently not working will be back shortly but it still never works it keeps cutting off

Try to login to your gmail account and then go to menu, settings, accounts amd syc. You should see in there where you can sync stuff on your phone.

Follow the steps carefully

    go to your settings/accounts/select gmail, sign in with your user I.D i.e gmail email & password once signed in click the account which is your email tick or untick boxes you like to sync ticked means what you want to sync untick means that you dont want to sync on the phone once you have done this you can sync now by tapping sync now or switch phone off and on within a hour the phone will be synced and what ever picture ect takes or puts on the phone will be synced end of the day week depending on the network usage.

    in Android devices, accounts are managed in the settings tab. As most of the android services are managed via the gmail account assigned, the primary gmail account does most of the functions, like email, text and photo storage built in.

    Go to Settings, accounts, and select add account. Google should be an option to select then entire your credentials.

    after its logs in successfully, you can decide which functions to sync with your phone. the gmail app is the primary email app, and contacts will be synced with your phone as well as drive, and calendar.

    How do i sync my htc hd7 phone (windows mobile) with outlook xp
    I have Outlook 2010 client on my PC. My ISP mail account is forwarded to Outlook via POP3 mail account. I also have a gmail account to which I forward all mail to from my ISP mail address. My gmail calendar is bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook calendar using 'Google Calendar Sync' and likewise my gmail contacts are bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook contacts using 'Go Contact Sync'. then it was a simple matter on my Windows Phone 7 to create a Google mail account to my gmail account. I can create contacts, calendar entries in either Outlook, Gmail or my phone and they are all sync'd with each other. 'Google Calendar Sync' and 'Go Contact Sync'' are free downloads.

    Hi,

    Since HTC Hero runs on the Android Operating System, you can configure your phone to sync with your GMAIL account. This way, your contacts will be saved in your list of Contacts in Gmail and you can then download them if you want to.

    To configure syncing with Gmail (if not already done), do as follows:

    1. Go to Settings --> Accounts and Sync
    2. Click on the Gmail a/c link that you'd want the contacts to be saved to.
    3. Select "Sync Contacts" (checkbox). Once you tick the checkbox, your phone will continue syncing with Gmail at regular intervals.
    4. If you want to sync immediately, press MENU and choose "Sync Now"
    5. You'll be able to see visual confirmation of the syncing process.
    Once the syncing is completed and if you want to download a copy of your contacts, use Gmail to Export your list of contacts from the Contacts section of your Account.

    For this type of phone, syncing is OVER THE AIR using gmail. You need to create a gmail account on your pc and set it up on your phone. Once you have a gmail account, you need to import/export outlook to your gmail. Once you already did that, you need to go to settings, accounts and sync, tap on the gmail account and make sure that the sync contacts, sync gmail and sync calendar are all check.
