I have an Infinity 530a 5 channel amp. new

I have an Infinity 530a 5 channel amp. new installed, but no sound from rear channel. I tried hooking up the front channel RCA outputs from the deck to the rear channel inputs in the amp to rule out a problem with the deck. still no sound. front channel works fine. Please advise Thanks!

May be the problem is on the sound you are using is not a 5 channel coded sound or check in the menu´s of the amp if the rear channel´s have sufficient db output, check the connections, check if you amp. is not working only as simple stereo (menus also)

Hope this helps

LED lights up but! ???

Sounds like there is a problem with the amp. Try switching the inputs around for that output on the amp. If that does not help, Yes I would have to say that there is a problem with the amp output circuit.

I recently changed Receivers to a Pioneer. When I attempt to set preset radio channels, the sound sounds like it is coming from the PS 8. There is no treble. Help.

is your speakers broken down and set to the right channels (the presetting of radio channels, should not not affect the sound) is your a-b switch set to one or both? all connections are correct (front/center and rear) . you can also try a equalizer or pre amp that is ready to handle 5.1 system

My TT was imported new from Japan....Has AMAZING video and sound system unfortunateley its all Japanese to me!! The manual that comes with it is about an inch think...Its got built in Navigation system...

I know you can that you can change this by simply hooking up a scan tool for specific year. There are language options accessible for situations like this. Here is a sample of what can be changed using VAG 5052 or equivalent scanners.

I have 2 6x9 speakers up front 4 6 1/2 3-ways

Hello rjmiller4039,

Although amps with 5 channels are pretty rare, you can get one. Alpine, Boston Acoustics, Infinity, JL audio, MTX, and Polk all have 5-channels ranging in price from around $350 up to around $1,000. The Alpine PDX-5 will output 75X4 watts RMS for the front and rear stereo channels and 300 watts to the mono sub channel. It is priced at $599.99 at Crutchfield.

Hope this helps.

Protect light comes on, no power

Hello patrick_h_mi,

You'll also need a remote turn-on source for the amp to operate. Normally, this is a blue or blue/white wire from your head unit, but for test purposes, you just need 12V to the "remote" terminal on the amp. The amp should power up without speaker inputs or speaker connections, but it is not recommended.

Hope this helps.
