Needle holder assembly fell off rod.need to know how to put back on rod.
The needle holder has a screw right above the screw that holds the needle in place. It really doesn't look like a screw because it does not appear to have a slot for a screwdriver. However, with a small flat head screw driver you can tighten it up. There is also a curverd wire that must be inserted into a slot at the bottom of the holder. The screw tightens against the wire that tightens against the post. (It's a curved wire that curves around the front part).

The screw spoken about is called a set screw, which is a screw that is almost hollow. To lossen or tighten a set screw you use an allen wrench. The one on this machine is 5/64 th size. You can use a very small screwdriver if it fits tightly, but you must be careful not to strip the inside of the screw.
Where do you get the wire at?
I have tried to attach the needle clamp back on to the post but falls off. I have managed to secure the thread wire in place using the allen key but when i try to put everything inplace including the needle it all falls out again. It is driving me mad!!
Use a hex 5/64'' key, not a screw driver, to make sure it is really tight! The hex key set can be found in Wal-mart or any hardware store.
