I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher 665.13793K601 and the Start/Resume button just blinks continuously. Before, it would run fine, just not drain. Replaced both circuit boards and after turning power back on the Start/Resume light flashes continuously. Tried a couple reset sequences found on different help sites that did not work. When other buttons are pushed, they will start flashing also. Is this a problem with the new control board, a stuck button possibly? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
These dishwashers are known to accumulate moisture in the keypad and then short. The solution that I have seen is to replace the keypad...It is possible that all of your issues with this dishwasher could point back to the keypad. After spending $$$ on the circuit boards, do you want to throw and additional $135 for a keypad? or replace the whole unit? Food for thought. Here is a link for you:

ga, behind the toe panel on the bottom there should be a tech sheet explaining how to put the dishwasher in the test mode. See if you can enter the test mode. If you can't, you probably have a stuck or shorted keypad. Catriver...post back

I suspect for either of these units that the timer control boards are bad.

holding the button for four seconds will not do it, you have to hold it until the light stops blinking and
will go back to normal, normall takes more than four seconds to unlock the unit, this is something
the sears repair techs know becouse the are trained on all this things but, they will not share this things, becouse thats how they make money

did you hold the start/resume button for at least 3 seconds if this works the dishwasher will start ok but if there is a fault it will fail again best you contact your nearest service agent good luck
