SOURCE: No DM Board on WD-65833

The Main Board contains the DM circuitry. And you are right, this board does not fail in the way of its predecessors. What is the unit doing?

SOURCE: blinking light of death wd-52725 blinks green wont

Please let me know if you can get any sound at all out of your unit.
solution

I had a similar problem. I had a 52" RCArear projection tv. It would do this when I initially turned on the television, but then after a few "on/off, on/off, on/off" cycles it would stay on. Eventually it started doing it more; until finally there was a spark and that was it. The tv was dead. The bloggers called it "the blinking green light of death" (because of green light on the panel). The power board is going out.ALSO holding down the Input and Menu buttons afterward will give you some diagnostic information via 2 sets of blinking indicator lights.

You may very well have issues with capacitors on this set being that it is or very similar to the V26 chassis. Since I have spare test lamps laying around, I would normally try that first. If the lamp still would not stay lit, I would then suspect the electrical chassis (capacitors). When I suspect the chassis, I can usually verify it by pulling it out and partially disassemble it and find blown capacitors

This may help you if the set has the tiny recessed reset button on the front, those buttons (not the button itself but the tiny push switch under or behind it) do fail and trigger the set into the blinking green light of death--lots of techs call that.

Somewhere behind the speaker grill is a access plate, removed you will see the bundle of wires that come from the front keyboard---there will be a inline plug----Disconnect it.

Turn set on with remote--if it works the micro switch for the recessed reset button (its a joke as all it does is reboot the digital board) is bad---the remote will still work as the receiver is inside the screen unit. Leave it disconnected if the set works OR spend a few hours getting at the defective micro switch and remove it.

If the switch is bad they only sell (if its available any more) the whole pc board with all the controls on it.

Have a 73" mitsubishi model No.WD 73734 and I have

On the TV not the remote, simultaniously press the menu and input button for at least 5 seconds. This should give an error code. If it blinks 3 times then a pause then blinks 2 times, the code would be 32. Get your error code and look in the service book at: http://www.audiolabga.com/pdf/V36-V37-V38_Service_Manual.pdf -

DM removal

You will need to remove the entire chassis block as outlined in the manual. DM stands for digital board. It will be listed in the manual as PWB DM its sandwhiched in between other boards inside the chassis . Which is actually a metal box that will need to be disassembled then each board removed to get the DM . The DM is usually the bottom board. I dont have access to the WD65833 sertvice manual, but I am famillar with it. The DLPs are all simallar the entire Chassis block needs to be removed. Hope this helps if you need more info, let me know.

WD-65833 Flashing Green Light/Will not turn on!

its an easy repair however i would recomend not even attempting the repair without the service manual as the DLP chassis is completely incased and you will need the info just to get the chassis out , That will explain exactly how to disassemble. once disassembled there are 4 100uf capacitors that are causing the problem. If you would like the full service manual for your set let me know and I will post a link where you can get it emailed and they will provide free support to help you do the repair.

WD-52525

You will need the service manual to do this repair. I happen to have it, as this site was suppose to put in the pictures and things to explain that a lot of TV sets are still using this DM board, but they are building them differently. Just follow the directions in the service manual on how to remove the DM board and then follow the directions in the article on repairing the DM board. I will need your e-mail address to forward this service manual to you. Good Luck

WD-52725 Timer light is blinking and will not stop.

This part will cost you about 650 to 800 bucks my friend. if you have any soldering skills, and can follow directions, I posted a DM board fix. it may just be four small capacitors. Now this set that was used in the fix is not exactly like all the other Mitsubishi TV sets that still have a DM board, but if you can locate the DM board, follow the rest of the repair. if you do not know how to solder, do not take a chance, as this part is way too expensive to be experimenting around with. Get the Capcitors(there is a link there too for the capacitors)and take the DM board to a service shop, as this should not cost you a lot to have a pro do this for you. The DM board fix is located here: http://www.fixya.com/howto/h154057-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair Good luck
