Hi. Please check your if you have 32-bit or 64-bit system. Download and install the correct driver from HP. Again, please use 64-bit bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit.

To check if your system is 32-bit or 64-bit, click "START" then right click "COMPUTER" then select "Properties".

HP 1220c driver for windows 8 64 bit

All of the HP drivers for the HP 1220C are available here: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=19142 . For Windows 8 and higher, the driver should be available through Windows Update. Make sure that the computer is connected to the internet and connect a USB cable between the computer and the printer. The printer should be on. If you do not see any activity, try accessing Windows Update and checking for updates manually.

Note: you do need allow Windows to automatically download driver software. See http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01796879 for some of the items to check. My HP DeskJet 1220C printer prints only 1 page at a time. I must push the print button each time! How can I get it to just print the entire document without pushing the button?

You may have it set to manual feed. Check printer setting on desktop. You will have to do a little searching. Printer options vary quite a bit. Start by right clicking printer and choosing Printer Preferences > Paper/Quality > Paper Source. This is my route, but again yours may vary.

This is a link to hewlett packard official support site. Please choose correct version of windows 7 (32bit or 64bit). You can check your windows version by right clicking "Computer" on your desktop and selecting "Properties".

See: HP DeskJet 1220c Drivers

However, HP says that this printer driver is in the Windows 7 OS. Try doing a Windows update.
